We painted this house a number of years ago. The clients wanted to make sure it was in top shape in case they decide to sell in the near future. The back of the house and one side gets extreme sun exposure during the summer months and had become faded, had some flaking paint on the window sills and some of the caulking had shrunk and started to fail. The front of the house and the non-sun side were still in pretty good shape. It’s rare that we agree to do only one coat of paint, but since it was being re-painted in the exact same colours and same paint product it was all that was needed to refresh the house on the front and one non-sun faded side. On the back of the house and the sunny side of the house we applied two full coats of paint.
