We enjoyed painting this charming farmhouse with its coved ceilings and arches. Yellow and pink walls were repainted with Benjamin Moore pale oak and the trim was done with white dove.
Wallpaper removal can be a tedious process and you never know what the condition of the wall is going to be like underneath it. If the the wallpaper is in good condition and well adhered it can be painted over. An appropriate oil based primer should be applied first. Otherwise there is a chance the water based paint could cause the the adhesive on the back of the wallpaper to release.
The wallpaper has a distinct textured pattern that comes through the deep blue colour, making it a great feature wall for the headboard of the bed. The colour is Benjamin Moore Andessummit.
