The upstairs living room, dining room, stairwell landing and hallway areas in this home were in their original 1990’s dusty rose colour. The homeowner wanted to re-paint in a modern colour scheme. It’s hard to tell from the photos but the lighter wall colour is a very soft grey. The darker storm grey colour works as a nice contrast. The spaces look very current and elegant.
The tray ceiling in the dining room has four levels to it, all of which were originally painted in the dusty rose. To add some interest to the layers we painted the two bottom levels in the dark storm grey and the two upper levels in the light grey wall colour. The owner’s cat watched with curiosity while the painting was going on.
