Wood Sided House Painted Cape Cod Gray

This wood sided house was overdue for a repaint. A large amount of prep work was done to remove flaking and chipping paint. The owners have lived in the house for many years and still enjoy the Cape Cod gray colour with the trim work done in a blueish gray. They had us do the re-paint in the same colours. The house is refreshed and looking good again.

Painting Condo Walls In Pale Oak

We were hired to paint this condo to prepare it for sale. The owners wanted the condo to be painted in a colour that was neutral enough that it would appeal to a wide variety of potential buyers. They choose Benjamin Moore Pale Oak for the walls. The trim work and doors were painted in Simply White. The condo is clean, refreshed and ready to sell.

Changing A Condo From A Cool Off White To Warm Earthy Tones

When the client purchased this condo the walls were painted in an off-white with a very cool undertone. They did not like it and it didn’t work well in the space. When you paint your walls a white colour it’s important that it’s the right white that works with the other elements of your home. Regardless, white walls are not for everyone and this client wanted a warmer colour with more depth.

The client had us re-paint the walls of the main living space and bathroom in three variations of an earthy colour. It compliments their furnishings, flooring and area rugs.

A Colour Change From Gray Walls To Yellow

The walls throughout the main living space of this patio home were painted in a gray colour several years ago. The homeowner never quite warmed up to the colour. The living room has north facing windows and therefore receives little to no direct sunlight for most of the year.

To add a sense of warmth the client chose to have us re-paint the walls in a cheery yellow colour. We carried the colour through the living and dining area, the kitchen, hallway and entry. To help further brighten up the space we re-painted the ceilings as well. At first glance they didn’t appear that off-white, but once we started to apply a white ceiling paint it became obvious how much of a gray tone they had. The trim work and doors were re-painted in soft white.

Painting A Condo In Preparation To Sell

After having this condo as a rental property for a number of years the owner was ready to sell. It was in need of some major T.L.C. to get it ready for the market.

We did an extensive amount of patching and sanding to get the walls and trim work looking good again. We painted the walls with the Benjamin Moore colour called Wind’s Breath and the trim work and doors were done with Simply White.

The condo looks clean and fresh and is ready for the agent to list it for sale.

Painting A Renovation Of A Home’s Main Level

We have done work several times for this renovation contractor. On this occasion it was for a renovation that was being done to the main living area on the main floor of a house. We came in at two different stages of the renovation to do painting. The first time we painted the ceilings, primed any areas with new drywall and did the majority of patching and sanding to the original drywall.

After the flooring and trim work were installed we returned to do any additional prep work to the walls and filled, sanded and caulked all the newly installed trim work. Two coats of paint were applied to all the walls and trim work as well as the doors. Due to a long ordering and install wait the kitchen had yet to be installed and the fireplace got finished at a later date.

Repainting A Family Home To Make It Warm And Brighter

Fresh, warm and bright is what the new owners wanted their home to look like. They achieved this by having us paint the gray toned walls with a light creamy colour, that has just a slight hint of yellow in the undertone. The warmth of the wall colour compliments the tones in the wood floors perfectly.

For some added interest a colorful accent wall was painted in each of the children’s bedrooms.

Modernizing A Townhouse With A Light Neutral Colour And Dark Charcoal Accent Walls

The walls of this townhouse were originally painted with green and burgundy. The new colours give it a modern and edgy look. The strong contrast between the dark charcoal accent wall against the lighter walls makes a statement in the living room. The space was further transformed by wrapping the charcoal colour around the large window wall and the fireplace. The rest of the walls throughout the house were painted with the same light neutral colour. It has refreshed the home and made it much brighter.

The same charcoal colour was used for an accent wall in the master bedroom.

A Fresh Coat of Vibrant Purple Brings Sophisticated Playfulness to a Child’s Bedroom

What little girl wouldn’t want a purple bedroom! The white trim work and bedframe help to break up the vibrant colour so that it’s not too overwhelming. It will be a fun room to decorate.

Blue Sky Bedroom

Doesn’t this room look awesome? The Sherwin Williams colour called blue sky is so fresh and works well with the white trim work and doors. It’s the perfect backdrop of colour for a little girl to decorate her room.
