Portfolio Of Our Work

Painting A Kitchen After A Partial Renovation

The homeowners did a partial kitchen renovation in this charming older home and called us to do the painting afterwards. We painted the ceiling, walls and trim work. The new look is updated but still keeps with the character of the home.

Painting A Warm White Throughout A Two Storey House

After a period of absence the owners were moving back into their home. The walls were previously painted in several different colours, including dark brown, tan, green and yellow. They wanted to lighten it up and give the house a fresh new look. To create continuity they chose a creamy off-white to use throughout the home. We painted the majority of the ceilings which also helped to brighten up the rooms. The trim work and doors were painted on the main level. We chose a slightly warm white to compliment the new wall colour.

The previous sage green walls didn’t do much for the fireplace. With the new off-white colour the fireplace really stands out as the feature of the family room.

The new wall colour has given the kitchen a refreshed look and it works great with the cabinets.

Painting the chocolate living room walls in an off-white changed the entire atmosphere of the room.

The dining room is much brighter.

We did some major patching and sanding to repair the stairwell walls.

The new colour makes the entry very inviting and has really brightened up the hallway.

The bedrooms and walk in closet were changed from yellow to the creamy off-white colour.

Changing the bathroom wall colour from yellow to off-white gave the room an instant update.

Painting A Modular Home In Preparation To Sell

This modular home was only 7 years old and in good condition, but there was a lot of sale competition at the time. Having it look itโ€™s best was important before it was put up for sale. The interior colour of the home had a slight pink tone, the owner wanted it to look more modern. We chose three different brown tone colours to use throughout the space. The new colours instantly updated the look of the home. A darker chocolate brown was used in the main bathroom and laundry room, a medium mocha colour in the kitchen and ensuite and a lighter taupe in the main living areas and bedrooms. We also did a full re-paint of the exterior of the home which you can see in our exterior album of our work. Weโ€™re happy to report that this home sold in 4 days after it was listed!

Repainting A Protection Island Cabin Interior

The owner was preparing the cabin for sale. We agreed to take on the painting job on Protection Island. We did both the interior and the exterior of the cabin. On the interior we refreshed the white walls and the ceilings.

Repainting A House In A Warm Neutral Colour

The new owners of this home had a small window of time to do some improvements prior to moving in. There wasnโ€™t enough time for us to do a full paint job so they picked the areas that were most important to them. We painted the livingroom/dining room area, kitchen, hallway and stairwell. They decided to have just the walls painted and forego the trim work. They had us paint with a light beige colour that has a slight yellow undertone. Itโ€™s a pleasant neutral colour that works well in a variety of spaces.

Painting A Lighter Colour On A Main Floor

This is the third home we have had the privilege of painting for these clients over the years. They purchased this particular house a couple of years ago. In the first year they lived in it we painted the exterior. Now they were ready to do some changes to the interior. They found the existing taupe colour to be too dark, especially in the bedrooms. The new colour we used throughout the main floor and stairwell is a few shades lighter. It’s got a bit of warmth to it so it still works well with the colour of the flooring and cabinets.

Some of the high traffic areas in the hallway and stairwell needed a large amount of patching.

Painting A Rancher Interior With Grays And Off White

The new colour scheme of greys and neutral off whites modernized the look of this rancher. The trim work was changed from a stark white to a warmer white that works well with the new wall colours. The owners had new carpets installed in the bedrooms and had the hardwood floor extended into the living room. We were later called to paint the interior doors that they had replaced and have also been hired to paint their exterior stucco.

The main living spaces were a combination of peach, brown and beige tones. To update the look everything was repainted with Benjamin Moore Natural Cream.

The bedrooms and walk in closet were painted with Benjamin Moore Edgecomb Gray.

Some close ups of the fireplace mantles and trim work painted in the same soft white. The decorative tray ceiling features were painted the same Natural Cream colour as the walls to stand out from the white texture.

Updating An Older Condo With Shades Of Modern Gray

Giving this condo an updated look was as simple as changing the gold and brown walls. A lighter gray was used in the bedrooms and bathroom and since the main living area receives a lot of natural light it was able to handle a bit of a darker shade. We repainted all the trim work and doors in a white that was not quite as stark as the current. It’s all ready for the owners to move in and enjoy!

Repainting A Rental Property To Prepare For Sale

This is the second time we have been hired to paint this townhouse. The first time was between tenants. The owner had us paint with the same Shaker Beige colour that was currently on the walls.

Three years later the owner hired us to paint again in preparation to sell the property. They replaced the carpet with a gray vinyl plank flooring. To brighten up the rooms we chose a lighter colour. It’s a greige (grey/beige) that works well with the flooring and counter tops.

Repainting And Renovation A House To Prepare For Sale

A past client asked if we would be interested in painting a family members home in Sidney. They were getting ready to sell the house and in addition to a few renovations they wanted the interior fully repainted. We were happy to oblige and stayed in the house in Sidney while we completed the painting. During our down time we took advantage of the walking trails in a nearby nature park.

The rooms were previously painted in pinks and yellows. We painted a light grey throughout the house to give it a more modern look. A deeper grey/brown was chosen for an accent wall in the kitchen. The trim work and doors were done in a complimentary soft white.

In addition to a complete interior paint job, they did a bit of updating to the kitchen and bathrooms and put in some new flooring.

The oak coloured parquet flooring is also going to be replaced with a modern brown plank, the same as what has already been done in the kitchen. Once that’s done the oak cap and bottom portion of the railing system would look out of place. After properly preparing the wood we painted in white with the rest of the railing system so that it all blends together.
